PRN ECT Registered Nurse

Provide education about the ECT procedure and obtain understanding from patients and families. Work within the treatment team to deliver pre-treatment assessments, monitor therapy administration, and manage post-anesthesia recovery to ensure smooth patient flow. Establish therapeutic alliances while continuously monitoring cardiac and respiratory status, oxygen saturation, and EKGs throughout treatment and recovery. Participate in developing and evaluating nursing practices and clinical area functions. Communicate patient conditions and altered care needs to the treatment team. Utilize data sources to identify health issues, functional status, and safety concerns. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers. Requires current RN license, ACLS, IV, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications. Schedule available for PRN days.
