Job Summary
PRN Direct Support Professional providing person-centered care in residential and wellness day programs; responsibilities include assisting 1-2 individuals with daily living, personal care, community participation, implementing ISP and BSP, using positive behavior supports, providing transportation, completing shift notes and timekeeping, and participating in trainings; requires HS diploma, strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior caregiving, human services, or related experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Accurately punch in and out of time clock through phone application
- Verify timecard as needed in a timely fashion
- Complete required shift notes as instructed by Program Specialist immediately after end of shift
- Participate in yearly training as instructed by Training Coordinator
- Follow organizational policies and procedures
