PRN Dietary Server

Dietary Server responsibilities include setting up and restocking food items in the soup, salad, and dessert areas of the server line, serving food to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner, operating a cash register, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of serving areas. The role requires knowledge of portion control, ability to print tray orders, understanding different types of special diets ordered by a dietician, experience with inventory and service line setup, and adherence to patient rights and confidentiality. Preferred credentials include High School diploma or equivalent and Professional Food Sanitation and Service certification. Familiarity with cafeteria operations and banquets is valued, as is the ability to prepare trays and maintain adequate supply according to inventory guidelines.
