Job Summary
As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) at Rendevor Dialysis, you will perform and monitor dialysis treatments under the supervision of the Registered Nurse within a correctional healthcare setting. The Lincoln, NE unit operates Monday/Wednesday/Friday. You will coordinate patient care with the healthcare team and maintain strong relationships with clients and site partners (DOC/BOP, etc.). Responsibilities include conducting dialysis procedures per policy, ensuring safety checks, recording treatment parameters, maintaining sterile technique, infection control, preparing and documenting daily logs and lab records, stocking supplies, and supporting QAPI and IDT activities. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, CCHT certification, CPR, and one year of dialysis experience; proficiency with computer software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and strong communication skills are essential. This is a PRN role with scheduling flexibility including a one-shift-per-month requirement; the unit is located in Lincoln, NE. The job also involves teamwork, ongoing training, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a safe, efficient clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Nationally recognized Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification (CCHT) or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- One year of clinical dialysis experience required
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and satisfactorily communicate in English
- Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
