Job Summary
PRN Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) position in Arcadia, FL at a correctional dialysis unit within the Florida Civil Commitment Center. Responsibilities include delivering hemodialysis treatment, providing high-quality nursing care, assessing patients, coordinating with the healthcare team, communicating with staff, and ensuring patient safety and documentation. Requires Florida RN license, CPR, English proficiency, and 1 year of hemodialysis experience (2-3 years preferred). Must participate in infection control, QA/QAPI activities, patient education, and unit operations under the Charge Nurse with potential to cover shifts per schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current RN License for Florida
- Current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years of experience preferred)
- Experience must be within the past two years
- Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
