Job Summary
PRN Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) delivers hemodialysis treatments with safe, high-quality care in Shirley, MA. The role requires assessment, technical and documentation skills, and collaboration with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Responsibilities include understanding renal function, customizing care plans, communicating with staff and physicians, maintaining dialysis logs, assisting with infection control, and contributing to QA/QAPI initiatives. Requires MA RN license and CPR certification, English fluency, and 1 year of HD RN experience (2–3 years preferred). Strong computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and the ability to teach and guide patients and staff are essential. The unit operates 6 days per week (5:30am–4:00pm) and is located within a correctional setting; role cannot be performed remotely. Reports to the Unit Leader; background check required. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current RN License for (MA) & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years of experience preferred). Experience must be within the past two years.
