Job Summary
PRN Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) role in Tucker, AR at Norris Maximum Security Unit. Delivers hemodialysis care, utilizes assessment, technical, documentation, and leadership skills, and collaborates with the healthcare team to provide high-quality nursing care. Responsibilities include observing patient responses, adjusting care as needed, coordinating with nephrologists, dietitians, and staff, documenting thoroughly, and supporting unit operations. The position supports a one-shift-per-month schedule and requires an active AR RN license and CPR certification. This role resides in a hospital/medical unit within a correctional facility and cannot be performed remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- Current RN License for Arkansas & CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- English proficiency (read, write, speak, understand)
- Minimum of 1 year Hemodialysis RN experience (2-3 years preferred; within past 2 years)
