Job Summary
PRN Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Tucker, AR at Norris Maximum Security Unit. Provides hemodialysis treatments and high-quality nursing care with strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include recognizing patient changes, adjusting therapy, coordinating with nurses, nephrologists, dietitians, and other staff, and ensuring safety and quality through infection control and QA activities. Role emphasizes leadership, patient education, and efficient unit operation within a correctional healthcare environment; schedule includes a limited shift pattern (one-shift-per-month capability) and requires adherence to unit protocols and completion of required documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current RN License for Arkansas & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years preferred)
