Job Summary
PRN Dialysis Registered Nurse delivers hemodialysis treatment and provides specialized RN care in accordance with state law. Utilizes assessment, technical, collaboration, documentation, and leadership skills daily while coordinating care with the healthcare team and with clients (site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.). The unit is located in Muncy, PA (MCI Shirley) and operates 3 days per week (Mon/Wed/Fri). Requires RN licensure in PA, CPR certification, English proficiency, and 1 year of hemodialysis RN experience (2–3 years preferred). Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and a commitment to safety, quality, infection control, and patient education are expected; reports to the Unit Leader and participates in QA/QAPI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current RN License for (PA) & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years of experience preferred)
