Job Summary
PRN Dialysis RN delivers hemodialysis treatment with high-quality care in Shirley, MA, coordinating with the healthcare team and facility stakeholders. Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, developing and updating care plans, leading and delegating as appropriate, monitoring patient responses, administering medications as ordered, performing dialysis-related tasks, ensuring infection control, participating in QA/QAPI activities, and maintaining professional competency. Strong English communication, clinical proficiency in ESRD dialysis, and the ability to work in a correctional/hospital setting are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
- Current RN License for MA & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Background check required for all employees. This role exists in a hospital or medical unit within a post-acute or correctional facility. Not remote.
