PRN Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Job Summary
Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments per prescribed orders while obtaining and documenting pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments. Operate hemodialysis machines, perform safety checks, and administer heparin as permitted by state law. Accurately document patient treatment details, prepare laboratory specimens, and maintain a clean environment while delivering service to patients, families, and staff under nurse supervision. Requires two years of dialysis technician experience, current dialysis certification, and CPR certification. Full-time or part-time PRN status with flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR Certification or completion upon starting in unit
- Able to meet physical demands of the position
- Minimum of two (2) years of dialysis technician experience
- Dialysis certification required
- Must be able to lift to 25 lbs
- Requires strong focus and attention to detail in a clinical setting
