PRN CT/XRAY TECH - Baptist

CT/X-ray imaging professional (PRN/part-time) at Ochsner Health who assesses patients and safely performs routine CT procedures in line with radiation-safety protocols. Serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students. Requires completion of an approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registration (or CT registry eligibility with 90 days to obtain), current state license, and BLS. Strong KSAs include proficiency with radiology software, effective communication, adaptability to a flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays), and ability to travel between facilities. Responsibilities encompass verifying orders, operating CT equipment per protocol, ensuring image quality, assisting with departmental operations, and maintaining patient privacy and safety. Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and the hemodynamics related to disease states, with the ability to identify stenosis/occlusion per published criteria, and assisting in interventional procedures when required.
