Job Summary
Operate CT scanners and auxiliary devices safely, ensuring radiation exposure is minimized for reasonable image quality while performing routine procedures and specialty studies. Maintain organized patient flow, coordinate examinations efficiently, and provide immediate patient assessment, education, and venous access for contrast administration. Act as a liaison between departments, assist with developing continuing education strategies, and participate in teaching opportunities for fellow technologists and students. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure equipment operates optimally and safely.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate Or GED
- Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 180 Days
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) - State Board of Healing Arts for Kansas locations only within 90 Days
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced computer skills, related to RIS, PACS, EMR

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology or in a related field of study from an accredited college or university
- Experience performing basic CT procedures
- 1 or more years of large facility experience
- Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiography - ARRT
