Job Summary
PRN position to help with weekday coverage. Operate CT scanner to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues; appropriately position patients for scans; perform regular warm-up sequences; sterilize radiologic equipment; interpret doctors’ scanning instructions; administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility; evaluate CT scans for technical quality; explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required. Requires ARRT CT certification and Florida licensure; 0–2 years of experience; flexibility to work weekday coverage; preferred Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology. Located in Cancer Care of North Florida—Radiation Oncology, Lake City, FL.
Required Qualifications
- 0 – 2 years of experience, preferred
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology, preferred
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
- Licensed with Florida Board of Radiologic Examiners
- Phlebotomy experience, preferred
