Job Summary
Develop and nurture professional relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care hospitals. Assess patients with rehab diagnoses on-site at referring hospitals to determine individual care needs and manage the referral process. Create target lists of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals, then educate referral sources on rehabilitation services provided. Support Sales and Marketing through educational programs, tours, and meetings while developing strategies to grow market share in core business lines. Submit quarterly goals and objectives to your supervisor and work with leadership to identify opportunities for expanding strategic business initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist
- Multi-state licensure based on geographical territory
Desired Qualifications
- Two years related experience working in a clinical healthcare setting
- Previous experience working in a clinical liaison role
- Demonstrated competency with the preadmission process including assessments and relationship building in a rehabilitation setting or in another post-acute care setting
- Proven track record in sales and marketing with at least one year experience in a related position
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Sound judgment in handling professional/confidential nature of health care sales
