PRN Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Inpatient Consult

Job Summary
Provides high-quality medical care to children and adolescents in the inpatient consult setting. Responsibilities include patient care compliance with policies, engagement in quality improvement practices, education for patients and families, and maintaining accurate medical records. Requires effective communication, teamwork, organizational skills, and the ability to respond to clinical staff and patient needs. Must maintain certification in BLS, PALS, and complete additional specialty training as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
- Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Psychiatry.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
- BLS or PALS certification required.
- Current DEA registration.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in respective clinical area.
