Job Summary
PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Cedars Healthcare Center. Provide in-house therapeutic services to residents, implementing treatment plans in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist, educating staff and families, and ensuring proper documentation. Requires COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program and a valid or pending state COTA license. Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education, obtained in an accredited two-year associate degree program
- Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with an Occupational Therapist, education of treatment staff and family consultation and training
- Complies with documentation requirements of the rehab department and facility under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
