Job Summary
PRN Caregiver in West Albuquerque, NM provides in-home, client-centered care in a home setting. Responsibilities include assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating; following individualized care plans and delegated instructions; mobility assistance (transfers, repositioning, wheelchair support); medication reminders and delegated tasks; light housekeeping; companionship and emotional support; escorting or transporting clients to appointments or errands; observing and reporting changes to the clinical team; maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Qualifications emphasize compassion, dependability, patience, strong communication and time-management, ability to work independently, attention to detail, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and residence in Albuquerque area. Schedule is PRN/as-needed with flexible availability. The role may require travel between client homes. Education preference is a high school diploma or GED; prior caregiving experience is favored.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Must have a current valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance required
- Must live in Albuquerque, NM or surrounding areas
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel between client homes in the Albuquerque area
