PRN Cardiac Rehab Educator

RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse in Cardiac Rehab: PRN Days role focusing on direct patient care in Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab, including 1:1 and group education, development of individualized exercise plans, adherence to ACSM/AACVPR guidelines, EMR documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Requires Masters Degree in nursing, licensure as a nurse, and at least 5 years of nursing experience with clinical/management background. Responsibilities include patient assessments, obtaining consent, IV administration, emergency care per ACLS, monitoring telemetry, reviewing labs, and education of patients and families in cardiovascular disease, nutrition, and risk factors; role reports to the Manager Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and program Manager.
