Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments of prospective patients in the Emergency Department to determine program appropriateness. Complete Psychosocial Assessments, review treatment plans, and facilitate groups, marital, and family therapies as part of the multidisciplinary team. Coordinate psychiatric assessments with attending psychiatrists and maintain contact with nursing homes and medical-surgical units to promote services. Provide direct clinical social work services to patients and families, including developing and implementing treatment plans. Work open shifts seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, with rates starting at $46.62/hour plus weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health
- Facilitating patients' access to community resources
- Conducting therapeutic groups
- Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
- Display proficient oral/written communication skills
- Must be licensed in Washington, DC as an LPC or LISW
- Available for all shifts including weekends and holidays
