Job Summary
PRN Athletic Trainer role based in Foley, AL, joining a sports-medicine team to provide athletic training services to local schools, community events and organized sports under applicable state laws and established contracts. Responsibilities include delivering athletic training services, collaborating with the sports medicine team and supervising physicians, offering sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes and families, conducting workshops, maintaining treatment records, and communicating effectively with patients and team members. Requires current athletic training license or eligibility, Board of Certification credentials, CPR certification, and demonstrated competency in athletic training methods; flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Current athletic training license or eligible in state of position
- Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification
- Demonstrates competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in athletic training
- CPR Certified
- Strong decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing and the ability to interface successfully with various individuals
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
