PRN - Assisted Living Care Attendant

Job Summary
Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal service, and mobility support such as transferring and ambulation. Monitor resident conditions, report changes to nursing staff, and respond promptly to call lights while maintaining room and common area cleanliness. Ensure resident safety and well-being by following infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines, and encourage participation in social activities. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and respond quickly to emergencies. The Bartlett Assisted Living provides a foundation of compassionate care for its community.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance)
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or healthcare preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
