Job Summary
Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal assistance. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of activities, vital signs, and condition changes. Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe environment. Monitor for signs of distress and respond promptly to emergencies while engaging residents in meaningful conversation and recreation. Collaborate with the caregiving team, healthcare professionals, and families to support resident well-being. Requires a high school diploma, satisfactory background check, negative communicable disease screen, and skills in caring for seniors with or without dementia.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Satisfactory criminal background
- Satisfactory reference check
- Skills in rendering care and service to seniors with or without dementia
- Negative communicable disease screen (including TB)
- Ability to maintain acceptable work attendance record
- Ability to follow work schedule
