Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for patients in Georgetown and Horry Counties, including comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and laceration repair. Manage stable chronic disease states and acute care under the supervision of a collaborating physician, while documenting care, billing, and participating in quality improvement and clinical research activities. Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education, and potentially precept advanced practice students. This PRN role offers 8-hour shifts within Tidelands Health's community-based network, serving the second fastest-growing region in South Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN
- Eligible for South Carolina licensure
- 2 years of Emergency Room Experience as an APP
- Graduation from an Emergency Room Fellowship
- 4 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an Adult Emergency Department
