Job Summary
Lead enterprise-wide Privileged Access Management (PAM) strategy and ensure development, governance, and operational effectiveness of PAM policies, standards, and procedures. Define strategic PAM goals to improve privileged access controls, monitoring, and regulatory compliance; oversee subordinate managers, teams, and third-party providers; drive integration of PAM solutions into enterprise architecture; establish continuous monitoring of privileged access threats and risk; engage senior leaders to align PAM priorities with business objectives; monitor audit readiness and compliance with SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and related standards; translate security concepts into business terms for executive stakeholders; build consensus across teams and mentor PAM-focused teams to deliver secure, efficient access governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive experience in leading diverse cybersecurity functions
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level PAM programs
- Deep knowledge of PAM platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar solutions
- Experience with Privileged Session Management, Credential Vaulting, Password Rotation, and Just-In-Time (JIT) Access models
- Ability to map PAM controls to frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Hands-on experience ensuring PAM compliance with SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills for executive-level stakeholders
- Experience with integrating PAM with Active Directory, LDAP, Cloud IAM, and DevOps toolchains
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and its application to privileged access
- Familiarity with SIEM integration for PAM event correlation and alerting
