Job Summary
Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and tax planning strategies, including gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters. Structure and implement sophisticated estate plans such as wills, trusts, and family limited partnerships. Counsel clients on wealth preservation, business succession planning, and philanthropic initiatives. Assist with estate and trust administration, including post-mortem tax planning, and work on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters. Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, tax, and real estate practices to deliver integrated solutions. Maintain strong client relationships through client development. Requires 4–7 years of experience in trusts and estates at an Am Law firm or leading boutique, admission to the New York Bar, and strong writing and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in trusts and estates / private wealth services at an Am Law firm or leading boutique
- Strong background in estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals
- Experience drafting complex estate planning documents independently
- Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in)

- Exposure to estate and trust administration is preferred
