Job Summary
Private Wealth Administrative Assistant internship in Waterloo (Fall 2026, 4 months) at BMO. Supports general office operations and clerical tasks for one or more business groups, maintains databases and filing systems, prepares funding approval requests and tracks department budgets, coordinates meetings and travel, writes and distributes communications, processes invoice discrepancies, and assists with office supplies, equipment maintenance, and onboarding/offboarding activities. Opportunity to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, gain exposure to risk management practices, and develop skills through campus programs and employee resource groups. Requires enrollment in an academic program and return to studies; compensation aligned with internship standards and may include benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Certificate in Office Administration is desirable
- Working knowledge of general office procedures
- General knowledge of office equipment (photocopiers, printers)
- Verbal & written communication skills - Basic
