Job Summary
Private Tours Consultant responsible for creating tailored travel experiences, handling bespoke inquiries, processing private tour bookings and payments, invoicing, and maintaining supplier relationships. The role involves researching, designing, pricing, and proposing detailed, costed itineraries; sourcing suppliers; managing supplier databases; handling customer communications via email, phone, and face-to-face; and representing the company at trade shows and fam trips. Requires strong customer service, price and margin awareness, ability to multi-task, proficiency with booking systems and MS Office, collaborative teamwork, and a passion for travel across the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe. Salary is in the hinted range and the role is hybrid in Edinburgh. Health and safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to meet KPIs and sales targets are expected, along with adaptability under pressure and a sustainable, customer-focused approach.
