Private Teacher responsible for teaching private music lessons, setting up rooms, managing schedules, and developing clear curricula; will teach proper playing position, scales, and reading music, supplement instruction with etudes, and encourage students through recitals and auditions. Maintain communication with parents within 24 hours, book rooms via ISM Schedule Manager with a 48-hour lead time, and submit teaching hours weekly. Promote healthy recital and audition experiences, keep accurate lesson records, uphold Child Protection Policy, and represent ISM and Immanuel Church to high standards. Requires a college degree in the primary instrument or college music education, five years of performance experience, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Core competencies include teamwork, verbal and written communication, self-starting initiative, emotional maturity, and compassionate professionalism.
