Job Summary
Conduct thorough intake evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments to formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses. Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy based on client needs while providing crisis intervention and risk assessments for acute mental health issues. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other providers through case consultations and team meetings to ensure cohesive care and appropriate referrals. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system and ensure compliance with legal regulations, ethical standards, and DEA guidelines for controlled substances.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
- Must be independently licensed and in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or equivalent
- Will accept provisionally licensed associates
- A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, State Regulations, and Federal Regulatory Standards
- Complete TB testing
- Drug Screening
- Background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in substance use
- Two years of experience in private practice setting
