Job Summary
Deliver engaging, personalized piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, foster a positive, encouraging learning environment, prepare students for recitals and performance opportunities, maintain accurate lesson and attendance records through a digital system, and communicate clearly with students, families, and staff. Requires a strong musical background with 2 years of college-level training or 5 years of teaching/professional performance experience (bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or related field preferred). On-site studio role in Gambrills, MD with a studio-supportive environment and opportunities for performance. Background checks are required and will be conducted periodically. Strong verbal/written communication, organization, reliability, and comfort with scheduling systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of college-level music training OR 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience OR equivalent combination
- Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, as well as recurring background checks every three years
