Job Summary
Coach, direct, and manage the sales activities of a small group of residential Private Mortgage Bankers to ensure high-level customer service, timely completion, and compliance. Produce high-quality loans meeting Wells Fargo Home Mortgage guidelines by building relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, and other sources. Make supervisory decisions on work allocation, financial resources, and daily operations while managing the team's pipeline and resolving issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in low-complexity functional areas. Interpret policies and compliance requirements while negotiating terms and taking applications. Interact directly with external customers and collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to maintain marketplace visibility. This SAFE position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience
- Leadership experience
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards
- Meeting the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
- Acceptable background investigation results
- Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
