Job Summary
In this Private Mortgage Banker role with Wells Fargo Home Lending, responsibilities include soliciting residential mortgages from various sources, producing high quality jumbo loans, building relationships with affluent borrowers and professionals, and maintaining visibility of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace. The position requires understanding real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions, assessing client needs to match them with appropriate loan programs, quoting rates and points, completing follow-up and registration lock-in, and adhering to SAFÉ and LO qualification requirements. Ongoing training and regulatory compliance are emphasized, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and proactive communication. This is a full-time, client-facing banking sales role based in Florida with in-person duties at multiple listed locations; candidates must meet SAFE/LO regulatory standards and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience
- equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- SAFE registration at time of employment
- Compliance with LO qualification requirements under Regulation Z
