Job Summary
Drive mortgage growth by soliciting residential mortgage opportunities, producing high quality jumbo loans compliant with policies, and delivering outstanding service to affluent borrowers. Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, past customers, and non-traditional sources; maintain visibility of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the market; stay informed of mortgage industry trends; present loan programs and recommendations, analyze client needs against underwriting requirements, and manage rate quotes and lock-ins. Require SAFE registration and LO qualifications; perform credit and financial data analysis to match client needs with appropriate mortgage products; navigate real estate appraisals, title reports, and transactions; communicate policies and procedures to customers; complete training to deepen product knowledge and compliance. This role entails customer contact and may involve terms negotiation or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions, with ongoing regulatory compliance obligations.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration requirements and LO qualification requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
- Compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Current credit report used to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness (credit score not used in evaluation)
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
- Reliable transportation
