Job Summary
Solicit residential mortgages from various sources and produce high-quality, compliant jumbo loans for affluent borrowers. Build relationships with realtors, builders, and financial professionals to generate referrals while maintaining high visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Analyze financial and credit data to match client needs with appropriate loan programs, ensuring adherence to S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and Regulation Z requirements. Review applications, quote rates, and complete follow-up activities to maintain client satisfaction. This role requires SAFE registration, reliable transportation, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must meet ongoing regulatory standards and complete formal training.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over the past 12 months referred primarily from established, local, external sources
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mortgage industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
- Customer service experience
- Experience working with high net-worth clients
