Job Summary
Private Mortgage Banker role focused on soliciting residential mortgages and producing jumbo loans, building relationships with affluent borrowers, realtors, builders and financial professionals, and increasing Wells Fargo Home Mortgage visibility in the market. Candidates should have strong client service skills and experience in prospecting and generating referrals for high net-worth clients, with the ability to manage documentation, compliance standards, and risk considerations across loan programs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- SAFE registration at time of employment
- NMLS registration requirements and LO qualification requirements under Regulation Z
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed or scheduled
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mortgage industry experience and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
- Knowledge of real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions
