Job Summary
Private Mortgage Banker role in Wells Fargo's Home Lending division in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities include soliciting residential mortgages from various sources, producing jumbo loans that are compliant while delivering excellent customer service, and building relationships with affluent borrowers, realtors, builders, financial professionals, and past customers. Maintain visibility of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace, stay informed on mortgage industry trends in the assigned market, present loan program options and terms, review real estate appraisals and title reports, receive and analyze customer applications, quote rates and points, and ensure completion of follow-up activities with loan lock-in. Follow required policies and underwriting requirements, understand loan procedures, meet LO qualification standards, and comply with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act requirements. Emphasis on high-quality client communication, ongoing training, and meeting regulatory and risk-management expectations while serving high net-worth clients.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
