Job Summary
Solicit residential mortgages from various sources and produce high-quality, compliant jumbo loans for affluent borrowers. Build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, and past customers to develop visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace. Receive customer applications, quote rates, and complete follow-up activities while analyzing financial data to match client needs with appropriate loan programs. Inform prospects of company programs, rates, and underwriting requirements to maintain high standards of client satisfaction. This role requires SAFE registration and adherence to all S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act regulations and Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over the past 12 months referred primarily from established, local, external sources
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mortgage industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals
- Customer service experience
- Experience working with high net-worth clients
