Job Summary
Monitor KKR's revolving credit portfolio by assessing underlying company performance through detailed financial statements and conducting ongoing valuation analysis using Discounted Cash Flow and Relative Value methods. Build and maintain financial models while tracking portfolio company performance, liquidity levels, and credit KPIs to support strategic decisions on refinancings, restructurings, and exits. Prepare quarterly Investment Committee reviews and engage directly with portfolio companies and third-party advisors as required. This role supports the Portfolio Monitoring Unit's mission to analyze global private credit assets and drive organization-wide process efficiency within KKR's Gurugram office.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant experience (i.e. investment banking, private equity, corporate / leveraged lending, corporate finance, transaction services, restructuring, corporate audit and valuations)
- Portfolio and credit risk experience
- Excellent investing and financial acumen, with the ability to quickly disseminate and analyse financial reporting
- Financial modeling experience and capable of building and interpreting financial models
- Analytical and inquiring mindset, with a willingness to develop new skills
- Commercial awareness and a good understanding of financial statements and deal structures
- Strong academic background with graduate degree preferred
- Relevant professional qualification (ACA, CFA, ACCA or similar)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, with competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Financial modelling experience
- Strong communication, report writing and organisation skills
- Ability to evaluate AI solutions for risk, bias, data governance, and Responsible AI compliance to ensure ethical, secure, and effective deployment
