Job Summary
Licensed Private Investigators needed for Injunction Investigative work across Ontario. Roles involve assignments including labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made-crisis scenarios (crime scenes, structural fires). Must hold a valid Ontario Private Investigator license, be able to travel on short notice within Ontario for extended periods (minimum 4 weeks), and work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include investigations, de-escalation in confrontational situations, and high-quality report writing. Hotel accommodations provided when required; $20/hour before overtime with $30 per diem when lodging is required. Contract length ranges from 1 to 120 days. Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within Ontario to projects for extended periods (minimum 4 weeks)
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Able to sit, walk, stand, and/or drive for extended periods
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and de-escalation with little to no supervision
- Experience with the court injunction process
- Excellent report writing skills
