Job Summary
Execute event set-up, service, and breakdown for all-day conferences, weddings, receptions, and seated events of all sizes. Assist with food and table prep, run food, and manage post-event closeout tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Prioritize minute details, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve service issues with sound judgment under high-pressure conditions. Perform duties with precision, speed, and accuracy, including balancing multiple plates and lifting objects up to 30 lbs. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of similar experience in a similar environment
- A strong understanding of event service, food, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Current Food Handlers Certificate
- Availability on demand, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs
- Ability to perform all duties safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
