Job Summary
Manager-level Private Equity Relationship Manager role within Salesforce's PE practice. Drive growth by maintaining relationships with strategic PE partners, serving as an advocate within PE firms, and aligning Salesforce capabilities with portfolio company needs. Contribute to due diligence, growth strategy development for carve-outs and acquisitions, and collaboration with alliances and sales teams to expand advisory partnerships. Own and coach internal analysts and senior associates, support go-to-market plans for PE partners, and articulate Salesforce value across B2B/B2C PE-owned portfolios. Requires deep PE/finance experience, international exposure, high-level communication, strategic analysis, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in private equity/credit, venture capital, premier consulting, investment bank, M&A, strategy, enterprise software, or digital transformation
- Experience influencing decisions in corporate transactions with public and private investment teams
- Experience working internationally, both with international clients and on international teams
- Exposure to working at the C-level, with evidence of gaining deep insight into the business dynamics of large enterprises and across industries, as well as articulate the organisation impacts brought by technology
- Exceptional communication, strategic, analytical, influencing, and consulting skills, as well as a track record of thriving in complex, multi-disciplinary teams
- A high tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and deliver in a constantly evolving environment
- An independent, self-starter with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with our company’s core values
- A superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- A willingness to travel on as-needed basis >30% of the time
