Job Summary
Internship in private equity supporting the entire investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio monitoring. Work across Astorg's Midcap investment team and across healthcare, technology, and business services sectors on companies headquartered in France and the Benelux with international footprint. Responsibilities include forming investment theses, researching target information, conducting operational and financial modelling, preparing syntheses and memos, and presenting investment viewpoints. Location: Paris with onsite work and remote option; duration 4 months starting July 2026; compensation €2,200/month. Start ASAP. Right to work in France required; native or fluent French and fluent English mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Native or fluent French speaker
- Fluent English mandatory
- Right to work in France
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills and verbal reasoning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Numerical / business degree preferred (Maths, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Physics, etc.)
- Previous internship experience in M&A investment banking, Management Consulting or Private Equity is highly preferred
