Private Equity et Fusions-Acquisitions (PEMA) – Courtier en Assurance - Responsable de la relation client
HybridParis, Île-de-France, France
Job Summary
Lead client relationships within Marsh's PEMA Europe & UK Client Management team, managing the full sales value chain from initial dialogue through execution and delivery for private capital M&A transactions. Conduct issues-driven selling to grow the book of business, connecting client challenges to Marsh solutions and shaping narratives for C-Suite engagement. Oversee service delivery by mobilizing global Marsh teams, acting as senior oversight for key accounts to resolve roadblocks, and building internal networks to bring subject matter experts to client dialogues. Escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently while creating presentations and research reports using Marsh tools like MPower. Work directly with complex, time-pressured clients in hybrid environments, requiring onsite presence at least three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- A good understanding of insurance broking and placement
- Must have the ambition to manage and develop client relationships, build opportunities for Marsh, and work with PEMA colleagues to close engagements
- Must be comfortable as an individual contributor in all levels of activity – from CEO-level meetings to the creation of PowerPoint documents and Excel models as required
- Must be at ease in engaging with C-Suite leaders in formal (meeting), casual (lunch / dinner) or crowd-based (conferences, other similar events) settings
- Must be willing and able to build client presentations, research reports and engage in various Marsh tools and processes (MPower etc.) as required to ensure that all opportunities are fully reflected in the relevant Marsh reporting systems
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Be a seasoned client executive, with a skillset spanning the sales value chain – from initial client dialogue through to execution and delivery – with a specific focus on issues-driven selling as opposed to a product-led sales approach
- The ability to rapidly position themselves as an advisor and strategic coach to clients, rather than simply a transactional service provider
- The ability to coalesce Marsh-wide teams around individual client needs and opportunities, ensuring wide and cohesive representation across the firm
- Broad-based insurance knowledge and experience across a broad range of risk classes and focus areas
