Job Summary
Engagement Manager to lead a team of Associates and Analysts supporting private equity and portfolio-company engagements. Responsibilities include managing teams on pre-investment due diligences and investment-firm work, overseeing primary/secondary research, conducting data analysis, building financial models, conducting surveys, synthesizing findings to inform investment strategies, and presenting insights to deal teams and executives, while mentoring junior staff. This is a remote role with location-based consideration for Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, or Boston.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of top tier consulting experience focused on supporting private equity and other investment firms
- Experience in managing teams at a top-tier consulting firm on investor-facing engagements such as due diligences/portfolio work
- High level of comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Superior quantitative and analytical reasoning skills
- Expertise in developing and delivering client presentations/communications
- Superior problem-solving skills with experience in research, financial models, valuations, and data analysis
- Private equity experience in consumer retail, financial services, or technology verticals is a plus
- Outstanding track record of success in past professional and academic endeavors
