Job Summary
Conduct in-depth operational and commercial due diligence for potential manufacturing acquisitions, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and identifying key risks and value creation opportunities. Partner with private equity firms and portfolio company management teams to drive operational improvements through supply chain optimization, lean manufacturing projects, digital transformation, and post-merger integration planning. Perform rigorous financial modeling, data analysis, and market research to support investment theses, synthesizing complex information into clear presentations for senior stakeholders. Build strong relationships with clients to deliver actionable insights and guide critical business decisions while managing project timelines from scoping to final presentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in operations strategy and performance improvement
- Knowledge of industrial AI, digital solutions, sustainability, people development, transactions, turnaround, R&D, product profitability, cost and value engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain
- Ability to design and execute operational and performance improvement projects
- Application of improvement principles, processes, and tools
- Assessment of client business opportunities
- Design of change strategies
- Assessment of stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness
- Recommendation and/or implementation of communication, training, and behavioral change solutions
- Measurement of effectiveness to enhance organization, group, and individual performance

- Knowledge of manufacturing sector trends, technologies, and challenges (e.g., reshoring, automation, sustainability, supply chain resilience)
