Job Summary
Build detailed financial models, including LBO analyses and operating models, for prospective investments. Conduct preliminary screening of targets through market sizing, competitive analysis, and financial assessments to determine strategic fit. Lead workstreams during due diligence, coordinating with external advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and consultants. Prepare investment committee memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials while supporting deal structuring and negotiation processes. Work with portfolio company boards and management teams to improve operational efficiencies and sales workflows. Monitor performance through financial analysis and KPI tracking. Requires at least two years of investment banking or accounting experience. Total compensation ranges from $150,000 to $250,000.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Investment Banking or Accounting experience
- 1 year of Private Equity investment experience
- Strong financial modeling and due diligence acumen across multiple transaction types
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable investment recommendations
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with extreme attention to detail
- Strong project management, organizational, process management, and communication skills
- Ability to excel in building strong relationships with intermediaries, management teams, and advisors
- A bachelor's degree from a top university with a strong GPA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in buyouts of B2B enterprise software or tech-enabled services businesses
