Job Summary
Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider’s prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice, including monitoring progress, administering medications (including insulin and IV/fluids), wound care and dressing changes, and assessment for further injuries or complications. Collaborate with providers and other care professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current RN or LPN licensure in the state, CPR/BLS/First Aid certification, and reliable transportation; practical trach and/or ventilator experience is preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
