Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (PDN) position providing in-home direct patient care per the provider's plan of care. Responsibilities include assessing and documenting patient conditions, administering medications and IV fluids, wound care and dressing changes, monitoring for complications, and collaborating with providers and other health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Requires nursing education from an accredited school and a current unrestricted RN/LPN license in the state of practice, plus CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification. Reliable transportation to care sites; trach/vent experience preferred but not required. Flexible FT/PT/PRN scheduling available with 1:1 patient care in patients' homes. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position.
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
