Private Duty RN for Assessment

Private Duty RN position overseeing home-care nursing for patients in the PG County area. Responsibilities include performing initial home visits and re-evaluations, initiating and updating plans of care under physician orders, supervising and coordinating care provided by LPNs and CNAs, documenting symptoms and patient progress, educating patients and families on diseases and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and maintaining clinical records. Must travel to multiple in-person assessment locations, provide onsite supervision, and communicate changes in patient status to the DON and Operations Manager. Ideal candidate demonstrates compassion, education, proficiency, and experience in creating and managing nursing care plans and evaluating current and future medical needs.
